Join Us for the 3rd Annual Special Needs Resource Fair, The Pieces Collective, and Where The Pieces Meet's Annual Speed Social on July 25th, 2026

Supporting neurodivergent individuals means recognizing their unique strengths and providing opportunities for growth, connection, and creativity. On July 25th, 2026, Where the Pieces Meet, will host a special event designed to do just that. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the PZK Hall in Robertsdale, AL will open its doors for a resource fair packed with valuable services and a marketplace featuring local neurodiverge

nt makers and artists. Following the fair, at 2:30 p.m., the annual speed social will offer a fun and engaging way for neurodivergent adults to connect with peers in a supportive environment.


This event is more than just a gathering; it’s a celebration of creativity, entrepreneurship, friendship, and community support tailored for exceptional needs individuals. Here’s what you can expect and why you should mark your calendar.



A Resource Fair Tailored for Exceptional Needs Individuals


The resource fair will bring together a wide range of organizations dedicated to supporting neurodivergent individuals and their families. Attendees will find information, assistance, and connections to services that can make a real difference in daily life.

Introducing "The Pieces Collective": Showcasing Neurodivergent Creativity


For the first time, the event will feature The Pieces Collective, a marketplace spotlighting local neurodivergent makers and artists. This initiative supports neurodivergent individuals as entrepreneurs, encouraging creativity that often comes from unique ways of thinking and processing the world.

The Annual Speed Social: Building Connections in a Fun Setting


After the resource fair and marketplace close at 2 p.m., the speed social begins at 2:30 p.m. This event offers neurodivergent adults a chance to meet new people, practice social skills, and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere with finger foods and drinks.


Speed Social Details:


  • Tickets cost $10 per neurodivergent adult participant

  • Each ticket includes entry, finger foods, drinks, and the speed social experience

  • One free support person may attend with each participant ticket

  • Additional support persons cost $5 each

The funds raised support Where the Pieces Meet, Inc., a not-for-profit organization dedicated to hosting events and expanding access to social opportunities. The goal is to make small but meaningful things free for neurodivergent adults, such as bowling shoes or movie tickets, making social outings more accessible.

For the speed social, purchase tickets in advance or at the door. Bring a support person if needed, and prepare for an afternoon of engaging conversations and new friendships.
